For 12V marine electrical systems. Configure speakers, impedances, crossovers and power wiring to the amplifier installation manual.
DSP Tuning, Amplifier Connections and Installation
JL Audio TüN software provides an integrated workflow for selecting input signals, routing them to amplifier channels and configuring individual output processing. The DSP allows the installer to tune the speaker system instead of relying solely on a source unit’s tone controls.
Digital time alignment can help coordinate arrival times from speakers at different distances. Crossover filters allocate appropriate frequency ranges to the installed speakers and subwoofers, and output equalization can refine the system response.
Set gain structure and high-level or low-level input matching for the actual source. Configure speaker impedance and channel bridging only in supported combinations, while ensuring that system power and grounds meet installation requirements.
The amplifier’s marine-oriented construction helps resist the installation environment, but all connectors, power wiring and the amplifier location still require suitable protection from direct water exposure and corrosion. Provide ventilation for heat dissipation.
Where DSP configuration is changed, retest the full signal path at conservative listening levels before regular operation. External fuse selection and cable gauge should follow the installation manual and electrical-system design.
