Compatibility

Designed for infinite-baffle marine mounting. Provide a sturdy mounting baffle and adequate isolation between the front and rear of the driver.

Acoustic Design and Installation

The infinite-baffle architecture is intended to use the vessel structure as the acoustic separation between the front and rear of the woofer. It is not a direct substitute for an enclosure-optimized subwoofer.

A rigid mounting panel is important to prevent unwanted resonance. Seal the driver against the panel and ensure that air from behind the cone does not freely circulate to its front side.

A four-ohm marine amplifier channel with suitable low-pass filtering can be paired with this 175W RMS driver. The RGB lighting requires a separate low-voltage supply or compatible lighting controller.

The mounting depth, cutout and grille clearance measurements should all be considered before cutting the finished surface.
